Job summary

PG Golf LLC in Sugar Land, Texas, is seeking a QA Process Engineer to lead a new golf ball refinishing plant startup. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Mechatronic Engineering with 3–5 years of manufacturing ops experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and expertise in Paints and

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Mechatronic Engineering required.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing operations management or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Paints and Coatings manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading quality initiatives and driving continuous improvement.
• Experience with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory programs.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and inspection methods.
• Train manufacturing personnel on process controls and SOPs.
• Perform inspections, audits, and testing of materials and products.
• Improve equipment reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Lead troubleshooting for critical equipment failures and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain inventory control and spare parts for critical equipment.
• Support new product introductions and changes through validation and risk assessments.
