Garden Life Development, LLC seeks a QA Performance Tester for a full-time temporary role in North Carolina. You will design and run load, stress, spike, and endurance tests, build test scripts, and monitor metrics across applications, databases, and infrastructure.

You’ll analyze results with developers to fix bottlenecks and help set baselines and SLAs. Qualified candidates have hands-on experience with JMeter/LoadRunner/NeoLoad/k6, understand web/API/database performance, and hold a related

QA Performance Tester | Full-Time Temporary (W-2)

Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour (W-2), based on experience level and assignment
Location: North Carolina; on-site, hybrid, or remote depending on the assignment

QA Performance Testers find out how systems behave under pressure before users do. You'll design realistic load tests, find bottlenecks, and work with developers and infrastructure teams to fix them.

Also known as: Performance Test Engineer, Load Tester, Performance Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and run load, stress, spike, and endurance tests
  
• Build performance test scripts, scenarios, and test data
  
• Monitor application, database, and infrastructure metrics during tests
  
• Analyze results and pinpoint bottlenecks with developers
  
• Set performance baselines and service-level targets
  
• Report findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  
• Add performance tests to CI/CD pipelines where possible
  

What you'll need
