Garden Life Development seeks a Cloud Solutions Engineer to design, build, and automate cloud environments across Azure, AWS, or GCP. The role emphasizes secure, scalable infrastructure and ongoing optimization.

You will work on migrations, cost control, and collaboration with development, operations, and security teams. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, with certifications a plus; a W-2, full-time temporary assignment awaits in the United States.

Pay: $42.00 - $68.00 per hour (W-2), based on experience level and assignment
Location: North Carolina; on-site, hybrid, or remote depending on the assignment

Cloud Engineers build the cloud environments that applications run on. You'll design and automate infrastructure, help move systems to the cloud, and keep everything secure, reliable, and efficient.

Also known as: Cloud Solutions Developer, Cloud Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Cloud Specialist

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based systems
  
• Use infrastructure as code to automate provisioning and management
  
• Build and maintain scalable, highly available cloud environments
  
• Plan and carry out workload migrations to the cloud
  
• Monitor and optimize systems for performance and cost
  
• Apply security best practices and compliance standards
  
• Support development, operations, and security teams on cloud projects
  
• Evaluate new cloud services and recommend improvements
  

What you'll need

• Cloud engineering experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP (see experience levels below)
  
• Networking, identity, and security fundamentals in the cloud
  
• Container and CI/CD experience
  
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Degrees and certifications are verified before placement.

• AZ-305, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification

• Junior: 1-3 years

What to expect

Full-time temporary assignment, W-2 employment with Garden Life Development

Typically 40 hours per week

On-site, hybrid, or remote, depending on the assignment

Assignment length varies by project and is shared with you before you accept
