Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking an experienced QA Performance Engineer to join the Digital Delivery team responsible for building and supporting modern web and mobile applications, microservices, and scalable enterprise solutions.

The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated performance tests using NeoLoad, performing load and stress testing, and analyzing results to drive improvements across application and infrastructure layers. Hybrid work model with multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA Performance Engineering or Performance Testing.
• Hands-on experience with performance, load, stress, endurance and scalability testing.
• Experience with NeoLoad or comparable tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6).
• Experience developing automated performance scripts using JavaScript or other scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of performance engineering principles, metrics, and bottleneck analysis.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Application Insights, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
• Experience using Postman for API validation and testing.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar test management platforms.
• Knowledge of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated performance test scripts using NeoLoad or equivalent tools.
• Perform load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing on web and mobile apps.
• Create workload models and realistic test scenarios simulating production traffic.
• Define baselines, KPIs, and SLAs using production-like environments.
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks across app, infra, DB, and network layers.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to resolve performance issues and improve systems.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to testing process improvements.
• Integrate performance testing into Agile and CI/CD pipelines.
