Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance or 6 months Wayne Farms employee.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate in documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English; multilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify production processes, packaging, food safety and sanitation practices.
• Assist with documentation, inventory control and release of held product.
• Communicate with Production, QA, Team Members and Supervisors to address deficiencies.
• Monitor lines and paperwork to ensure product specifications are met.
• Verify labels, lot codes, bags, boxes, and pallets for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with microbiological swabs and sampling at required times.
• Ensure compliance with QA policies, food safety procedures and NCC Animal Welfare guidelines.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
