Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a quality assurance professional to verify production processes, packaging, and sanitation. You will ensure documentation accuracy, inventory control, and proper release of hold product, while supporting teams to produce safe, high-quality products.

Responsibilities include monitoring lines, enforcing GMPs, verifying labels and materials, and assisting with quality issues. Evening/night shifts possible; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance or 6 months Wayne Farms employee.
  • Intermediate math and computer skills.
  • Detail oriented and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to communicate in English with internal and external customers; multilingual ability preferred.
  • Sound work ethic and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Under minimal supervision, coordinate with Production & QA teams to ensure proper handling of products and timely correction of deficiencies.
  • Monitor production lines and paperwork to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Enforce GMPs and verify labels, lot codes, bags, boxes, and pallets are correct.
  • Verify receipt of incoming materials and inform QA/Shipping if issues arise.
  • Assist with day-to-day quality problems to reach workable solutions.
  • Ensure microbiological swabs and samplings are performed as required.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory policies.
