Job summary

Social Discovery Group is seeking an experienced QA engineer to own testing across mobile, backend, and web layers. You will write and maintain test cases, execute tests, and drive defect reporting in an agile environment. Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, TestRail and AI QA tools is essential.

• Experience testing mobile, backend and web stacks.

• Experience using AI tools in QA workflows and agile release cycles.

• Plan testing scope and timelines, write and maintain test cases and test documentation.
• Test and stabilize patches in a fast-moving release cycle — we ship to prod several times a week, not once a quarter.
• Find defects fast and write them up clearly enough that engineers can act on them without a follow-up call.
• Keep pushing the testing process forward: standardize repetitive checks, cut out busywork, and bring in AI tools where they genuinely speed things up.

• You’ve tested mobile, backend, and web — not just one layer — and you’re comfortable writing and running checklists, test cases, and test scenarios.
• You understand how client-server applications work and how testing fits into an agile release cycle, not just as a gate at the end.
• You’re hands‑on with Jira, Confluence, TestRail or Allure TestOps, MS SQL Server, Fiddler, and Postman.
• You use AI tools in your QA workflow already — this isn’t optional curiosity, it’s part of how the job gets done here.
• You think in terms of the product, not just the ticket: structured, result‑oriented, and genuinely interested in making the thing better rather than just checking a box.

• The initial pay level or pay range for this role will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process and before the commencement of employment.
