Job summary

Mark VII - Clean Cars® seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality function, own the strategy, metrics, and results, and prevent nonconforming product from reaching customers. This standalone role has hands-on responsibility with no direct reports.

You will drive supplier SCARs, manage audits, build dashboards, and apply Lean Six Sigma to improve processes across manufacturing, focusing on reducing cost of quality and increasing first-pass yield.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial).
• 5-7 years quality or operations experience, including independent ownership of a quality program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality function and governance, owning strategy, metrics and results.
• Apply LEAN - Six Sigma tools to identify root causes for customer, internal, and supplier issues.
• Develop and implement quick containment, corrective and preventive actions for customer impacts.
• Manage internal audits and ensure timely completion and documentation in QMS.
• Coordinate SCARs with suppliers and verify corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Build and automate quality metric dashboards and drive data communication across functions.
