One Degree Ag is seeking a dedicated site leader to oversee the quality control program at a regional feed manufacturing facility. You will supervise sampling, testing, and medicated feed protocols while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

The role involves leading laboratory operations and coordinating with production teams to resolve deviations, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement in multi-species production lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal feed manufacturing or grain quality.
• Certification as a preventive controls qualified individual.
• Strong leadership in a high-volume production environment.
• Knowledge of federal manufacturing compliance standards.
• Experience with medicated feeds and preventing cross-contamination.

Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of the facility quality control program.
• Direct sampling and testing of incoming raw ingredients.
• Maintain rigorous sequencing and flushing for medicated feeds.
• Ensure compliance with modern food safety regulations.
• Manage on-site laboratory operations and technician performance.
• Serve as the liaison for state and federal audits.
• Verify nutritional accuracy for animal diets.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality deviations.
