What You’ll Own
- Govern Day-to-day QA delivery for assigned tracks - test plans, estimates, execution schedules, and on-time completion against sprint and release milestones by working with consultants.
- Leading and mentoring a team of QA consultants: work allocation, capacity planning, onboarding, and holding the team accountable to agreed SLAs and quality standards.
- Applying the CoE's QA standards - test plans, entry/exit criteria and quality gates - and raising exceptions to the Sr. Manager where a track needs a deviation.
- Expanding automation coverage on your tracks, reducing manual regression effort, and keeping automated suites running reliably within existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Governing AI-assisted testing involving test case generation, self-healing automation, defect triage support and test data creation - and measure the KPI with the AI output for accuracy before it is relied upon.
- Release readiness for your tracks: managing dependencies and risks, and providing a clear QA recommendation into go/no-go calls with engineering, product and business stakeholders.
- Review the quality metrics for your tracks - defect trends, coverage, escape rate, automation pass rate, release health - into the CoE's reporting cadence.
- Supporting QA partner transition activity on your tracks: knowledge transfer sessions, shadow and reverse-shadow execution, evidence capture and exit-criteria sign-off, while protecting inflight delivery.
