Job summary

Mayr-Melnhof Packaging in Clayton, NC is seeking a passionate Quality Manager to lead the site's Quality Management System and ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and BRCGS. You will oversee product quality, release decisions, and customer quality activities including audits and CAPA management.

The role drives continuous improvement through data analysis, supplier quality programs, and support for new product introductions and process changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within Printing, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
  • Proven ability to lead quality improvements, investigations, CAPA programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Internal Auditor certification required; Six Sigma Green Belt and ISO/BRCGS Lead Auditor certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support new product introductions, equipment validation, and process changes to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Develop and mentor the Quality team while fostering a strong culture of quality across the site.

Your Role
