Job summary

Sunny Sky Products in California seeks a proactive QA Lead to ensure product quality, food safety and regulatory compliance across our juice production facility and warehouses. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will conduct audits, oversee lab testing and drive continuous improvement across departments.

This full-time role runs Monday-Friday, 6am–2:30pm, with weekend availability as production may demand. Requires a Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field, 3+ years in beverage manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• 3+ years in food/beverage manufacturing (juice or liquid processing preferred).
• PCQI, Internal Auditor, or Food Defense certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production meets customer, regulatory, and certification standards.
• Monitor production and escalate quality/food safety issues.
• Verify CCPs, OPRPs, and PRPs; manage lab testing and data.
• Calibrate lab equipment and maintain records.
• Lead quality initiatives and train staff in GMP/hygiene.
• Maintain audit readiness and sanitation standards.
