Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.
• Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of integration, testing and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Strategy: Developing comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements, ensuring all aspects of the application are covered.
• Test Case Development: Designing, writing, and maintaining detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Test Execution: Executing test cases (both manual and automated) and ensuring software quality across various stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Defect Identification and Reporting: Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools, and working closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Automation Development: Writing and maintaining automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the testing process and improve product quality.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure quality standards are met.
• Performance and Load Testing: Conducting performance, scalability, and load testing to ensure the application can handle the expected load.
• Test Environment Management: Setting up, maintaining, and managing test environments to ensure they reflect production environments as closely as possible.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assessing risks associated with releases and working on strategies to mitigate them, ensuring minimal impact on production environments.
