Job summary

CoVet is seeking a hands-on QA Lead to own and evolve quality across our web and mobile products. You will set testing standards, identify risks early, coordinate testing efforts, and ensure releases meet a consistently high quality bar while mentoring the QA team.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design, shape automation strategy, and integrate QA throughout the development lifecycle, not as a final checkpoint.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional QA or software testing experience (senior/lead).
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Experience leading QA activities across features/releases.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or provide technical direction to QA professionals.
• Strong experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering in Agile.

Responsibilities

• Establish and continuously improve QA standards, processes, and practices across web and mobile apps.
• Lead test planning, coordinate QA activities across multiple features or releases.
• Mentor QA team members and review testing approaches and plans.
• Shape and execute automation strategy, determining what to automate and how to structure maintenance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to identify risks early and improve release readiness.
