Job summary

Winpak Films in Senoia, GA seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to test and inspect returns, identify root causes of defects, and drive corrective actions. You will collaborate with QA and production to maintain quality across the manufacturing process and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes safety, data entry, and adherence to ISO 9001 and SQF standards, with day-shift hours 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical education or degree is a plus.
• Two years of experience in quality control or manufacturing.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and follow safe work procedures.
• Monitor production processes for product quality and procedure compliance.
• Investigate non-conforming material on hold and assist disposition decisions.
• Participate in process improvement and apply statistical quality methods.
• Conduct routine lab tests related to customer complaints and generate investigation reports.
• Develop and revise SOPs and forms to support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and Safe Quality Food standards.
