Job summary

Winpak Films in Senoia, Georgia is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to test and inspect returns, identify root causes of defects, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Reporting to the QA Supervisor, you will help maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years in quality control or manufacturing, with basic computer skills and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required); technical education or degree is a plus.
• Two years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, analysis, and report generation.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methods, including SPC, Six Sigma, or TQM (preferred but not required).

• Perform safety checks and follow safe work procedures while complying with company policies.
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with established procedures.
• Investigate non-conforming material placed on hold and assist in making decisions regarding material disposition.
• Participate in process improvement activities and implement statistical quality methods.
• Conduct routine lab tests related to customer complaints and complete investigation reports.
• Develop and revise standard operating procedures and forms to support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and Safe Quality Food standards.

Additional Details

• This position is for day shift which is 7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday
