Job summary

Winpak Films in Senoia, Georgia, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our QA team. You will test and inspect returns, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence, working with production staff to maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements include a high school diploma, two years in quality control or manufacturing, basic data entry and reporting, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required); technical education or degree is a plus.
• Two years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, analysis, and report generation.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methods, including SPC, Six Sigma, or TQM (preferred but not required).

• Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with established procedures.
• Investigate non-conforming material placed on hold and assist in making decisions regarding material disposition.

• Conduct routine lab tests related to customer complaints and complete investigation reports.
• Develop and revise standard operating procedures and forms to support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and Safe Quality Food standards.

Winpak Films is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our dynamic team in Senoia, Georgia. Reporting to the QA Supervisor, you will play a key role in testing and inspecting returns, identifying root causes for defects, and developing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. You will work collaboratively with the QA team and production staff to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Additional Details

• This position is for day shift which is 7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday
