Job summary

Richardson's Carrington, ND pasta facility is seeking a QA Lab Intern to support moisture and quality analysis during manufacturing. You will perform routine quality audits on finished goods and analyze raw ingredients including moisture, ash, falling number, and protein to ensure specifications.

Ideal candidates have completed at least two semesters of coursework in cereal/food science and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, plus MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least 2 semesters of accredited coursework in cereal science, food science, biology, microbiology, chemistry or related fields.
• Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• MS Office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct moisture and quality analysis on pasta products during the manufacturing process.
• Conduct routine quality audits of the packaged finished goods.
• Analyze raw ingredients including moisture, ash, falling number, and protein.
• Analyze retained samples for quality issues.
• Conduct cooking analysis on finished goods.
• Conduct dimensional analysis of finished goods to ensure that shapes are within defined specifications.
