Job summary

PFS TECO, an NFPA Global Solutions Company, seeks a part-time QA Inspector for Manufactured Structures in Phoenix, AZ. You will conduct audits at local facilities, review QC programs, and ensure plans meet code requirements.

This role combines field inspections with technical guidance and customer interaction. The position involves travel to manufacturers within the territory, up to 25% overnight, and requires ICC certifications and strong knowledge of IBC/ICC codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in commercial construction, code enforcement, quality assurance, building inspection, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC) and related ICC codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering documents, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance audits and inspections at manufacturing facilities within the assigned territory.
• Evaluate manufacturer quality control programs and verify compliance with applicable building codes, certification procedures, and approved plans.
• Review production records, inspection documentation, and quality management systems.
• Identify non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and verify their completion.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings with manufacturer leadership.
