Job summary

PFS TECO, an NFPA Global Solutions Company, is seeking ICC-certified QA Inspectors for modular construction in the Houston area. The role involves auditing manufacturing facilities, verifying code compliance, and maintaining QA documentation.

Frequent local travel with up to 25% overnight travel is required. Ideal candidates hold multiple ICC certifications and have at least two years of relevant experience in commercial construction, inspections, or QA programs.

Qualifications

  • ICC Certifications: Commercial Building Inspector (B2), Commercial Electrical Inspector (E2), Commercial Plumbing Inspector (P2), Commercial Mechanical Inspector (M2), and Commercial Energy Inspector (IECC).
  • Minimum two years of experience in commercial construction, code enforcement, or quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality assurance audits and inspections at manufacturing facilities within the assigned territory.
  • Evaluate QC programs and verify compliance with building codes and certification procedures.
  • Review production records, inspection docs, and quality management systems.
  • Identify non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and verify closure.
  • Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to manufacturer leadership.
  • Travel regularly to local facilities, with occasional overnight travel up to 25%.

QA Inspector (ICC Certified) – Modular ConstructionLocation: Houston, TX - Remote with daily Travel | Up to 25% Overnight TravelPFS TECO, an NFPA Global Solutions Company, is expanding our Manufactured Structures team and is seeking experienced ICC-certified Modular QA Inspectors who are passionate about building code compliance, construction quality, and working directly with manufacturers.This role offers the opportunity to apply your inspection and code expertise while supporting manufacturers throughout your assigned territory. You'll spend much of your time visiting local manufacturing facilities, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring products meet the highest standards for quality and code compliance.
