Job summary

VEKA is hiring a QA Inspector to oversee quality inspections, guide accept/reject decisions, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve production processes. You will collect data, monitor samples, and document AAMA 303 testing results to VEKA standards.

The role requires an Associate Degree or 3 years of quality experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with measurement tools. On-site work in Reno, NV with a focus on accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Science or Engineering or 3 years quality experience.
• Experience with measurement devices and inspection procedures.
• Ability to document results and follow VEKA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and checks per VEKA standards.
• Guide decisions to accept or reject products.
• Notify extrusion team of substandard results and collaborate for process improvement.
• Collect data and monitor samples per standards.
• Evaluate extruded products to support Tooling Maintenance Requests.
• Perform AAMA 303 testing and document results.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Responsible for allqualityinspection andchecksincluding but not limited to 3-Tier Dimensional, Length, Surface, Go Gauge Fit, Color, Bow,andImpact Testing.
• Responsible for guidingacceptand reject decisions.
• Notifiesextrusionteamsof substandard productionresultsandworkswith cross-functional teams to improve the production process.
• Responsible for collecting data and monitoring samples according to VEKA Standards.
• Evaluatesextruded products toassistin developing Tooling Maintenance Requests (TMR).
• Performsall AAMA 3O3 testing and document testing results.
• All other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Good written andoral communicationskills

Education& Experience

• Associate Degreein Science or Engineering related field or a minimum of 3 years quality experience and/or science related experience
