Amwell is seeking a Senior Manager of QA Engineering to lead and develop a high-performing Quality Engineering team. You will own the QA Tools strategy, drive automation frameworks, CI/CD quality enablement, and quality insights to ensure reliable, high-quality experiences for customers.

You will guide experienced engineers without writing code, build cross-functional partnerships, and evolve quality metrics to deliver measurable outcomes in a healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record of leading, developing, and empowering Quality Engineering or software engineering teams.
• Strong foundation in test automation, CI/CD, automated quality gates, and scalable testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Engineers to build an empowered, accountable team.
• Own the QA Tools strategy, roadmap, and priorities aligning with Quality Engineering goals.
• Drive scalable automation frameworks, CI/CD quality practices, and quality gates across teams.
• Provide technical leadership across automation, CI/CD, and AI-enabled engineering.
• Evolve quality metrics and reporting to enable data-driven decisions and risk identification.
• Build relationships with Engineering, Product, and QA leadership to drive quality initiatives.
