Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Hastings, MI seeks Head of Quality Assurance Engineering to architect and run systems aligned with ASTM and AS9100. You will lead QA policy design, audit programs, CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.

You'll hire and mentor a high-caliber QA team, codify best practices, and deliver concise KPI reports to executives. A strong leadership mindset and deep ASTM expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Quality, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in quality/compliance with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of ASTM standards and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own design and maintenance of QA policies mapped to ASTM standards.
• Lead internal audits, process assessments, and CAPAs.
• Supervise QA activities to meet regulatory and customer expectations.
• Hire, mentor, and grow QA talent; codify best practices.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve nonconformances.
• Deliver executive KPIs and compliance health reports.
• Embed quality-first thinking throughout the organization.
