Job summary

Ambry Genetics Corporation is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to own the quality engineering strategy for a portfolio of in-house clinical software, including HIPAA-compliant order platform and ETL tooling.

You will set test architecture, lead CI/CD test orchestration, and drive release readiness with evidence-based decisions, while mentoring Senior engineers and improving automation coverage across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software QA or test engineering with automation leadership.
• Proven track record owning test architecture across multiple apps or teams.
• Expert in Java and/or Python with production-quality test code.
• Strong API testing and CI/CD automation experience.
• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA/SOX) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QA strategy across the application portfolio.
• Define automation framework and reusable components.
• Own CI/CD test orchestration and nightly regression.
• Lead release readiness and go/no-go decisions.
• Mentor QA/SDET teams and drive career development.
• Ensure HIPAA/SOX compliance and traceability.
