Job summary

SHR is seeking a QA Engineer - Mid to ensure quality assurance for FEMA cloud-hosted applications, with a focus on system reliability, compliance, and readiness for deployment within DevSecOps environments.

The role requires developing test plans and automated scripts, executing functional, regression, and performance tests, and maintaining testing frameworks in a CI/CD cloud setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• More than 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Agile or ISTQB preferred.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with FEMA SELC and FedRAMP requirements.
• Document defects, track remediation, and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD and cloud-based testing.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
