Job summary

Modernize in the United States is seeking a skilled QA engineer to join its team. You will perform comprehensive manual and exploratory testing for new features, and develop and maintain automated UI and API tests within the existing framework.

You will collaborate with developers, monitor CI/CD results, and contribute to QA documentation. Strong TS/JS testing skills and experience with Docker and Git are preferred; familiarity with Playwright, Sentry, Grafana, and Loki is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual testing experience.
• Proficiency in API testing using automated and manual tools.
• Strong analytical skills and bug reporting.
• Good communication and collaboration with developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual and exploratory testing for new features.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UI and API) within the existing framework.
• Create and execute test cases and plan test runs for full coverage.
• Collaborate with developers to identify testing requirements early and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Monitor and analyze automated test results in CI/CD and report defects.
