Job summary

Dolby is seeking an experienced test engineer to drive end-to-end testing for imaging and video algorithms. You will work with research, development, and product teams in a fast-paced environment, designing test strategies, building automation, and maintaining CI pipelines across hardware and software test fixtures.

The role requires a strong background in Python, experience with test automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in imaging, systems, or application engineering.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong Python coding skills and familiarity with software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end test initiatives for Dolby Imaging/Video algorithms and software.
• Collaborate with research, development, and product teams in an integrated effort.
• Design and implement test strategies and test cases.
• Extend and maintain CI systems and test fixtures (hardware, software, automation).
• Follow best practices for source control, CI, and release management.
• Document testing work clearly and accessibly for SDK publication.
