Job summary

Infolet is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive automated testing for aviation software solutions. You will design, implement, and maintain test frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases for airline operations and dispatch teams.

You will work with cross-functional teams, focusing on scalable automation, API and UI testing, and cloud deployments (AWS/Kubernetes). Strong English communication and a proactive stance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript and Java, with a focus on test automation and quality engineering.
• Practical experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end test automation.
• Experience with API testing and validation.
• Experience working with CI/CD platforms.
• Experience testing applications deployed in cloud environments, preferably AWS and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience with test automation in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Ability to use AI-powered tools effectively to improve test design, test automation development, defect analysis, and overall engineering productivity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quality-focused and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests that support various airline operations and business processes.
• Design, build, and improve test automation frameworks to increase test coverage, efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain test tools, scripts, and automation solutions using various programming and scripting languages.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Build and use automation tools that support CI/CD pipelines and the software release management process.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to promote quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
