Job summary

In Time Tec, Meridian, Idaho-based software innovator, seeks an experienced QA engineer to join NextGenAgTech testing. You will partner with developers, product owners, and senior QA staff to find risk early, test new features, and build robust regression coverage for web, API, and eventual mobile workflows across English and Spanish user journeys.

You will apply exploratory testing, contribute to Playwright and API automation, and help evolve the team’s testing conventions.

Qualifications

Two+ years in software quality assurance or related technical role.
Experience with test cases, regression, smoke, exploratory testing, and black-box vs white-box approaches.
Ability to describe defects clearly with evidence.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute risk-based manual testing for features, integrations, and defect fixes.
Add and maintain automated tests for web, API, and mobile workflows over time.
Identify scenarios, edge cases, and acceptance criteria with developers and product managers.
Write clear defect reports and verify fixes.
Log and track defects in the team’s system through resolution.
Validate API behavior, payloads, status codes, and relevant database results.
Run regression coverage in CI/CD pipeline.
Review AI-assisted test drafts and automation for coverage gaps.
