Job summary

PadSplit is seeking a QA Engineer to strengthen quality across our Marketplace pod, spanning Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, and backend Platform systems. You will independently validate cross-platform user flows, reduce production risk, and increase release confidence through disciplined, hands-on testing.

In collaboration with Engineering and Product, you will own test strategy, validate end-to-end flows, perform API testing, and drive regression coverage to ensure stability before releases.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Mobile, Web, and backend systems.
• Strong API validation and backend logic testing.
• Solid SDLC/STLC knowledge and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman.
• Able to communicate clearly in English and work independently in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Test Strategy Ownership across Mobile, Web, and backend services.
• End-to-End Validation of complex user flows.
• API & Backend Testing for data integrity and business logic.
• Regression Coverage prior to releases to ensure stability.
• Issue Investigation using logs, network tools, and API inspection techniques.
• Defect Lifecycle Management with root-cause collaboration with engineers.
• Environment Management and test data maintenance.
• Risk Identification during sprint planning and releases.
