Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join the Quality Engineering team.

You will support testing, validation, and delivery of WCG named products and systems, applying risk-based testing across the SDLC and collaborating with Software Engineering, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. You will develop and execute manual and automated tests, maintain validation documentation and test traces, and contribute to automated

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software QA/test engineering experience.
• Experience with risk-based testing and validation throughout SDLC.
• Hands-on with automated regression suites using Playwright.
• Proficient in test management tools (Zephyr/Jira/TestRail).
• Strong communication and multitasking in dynamic teams.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and designs to ensure testability and traceability.
• Develop and execute test/validation activities using risk-based methods.
• Contribute to automated test suites using Playwright for UI, API, and real-time components.
• Maintain test cases and traceability in test management tools.
• Conduct manual regression testing and data-set preparation for load testing.
• Report defects and ensure timely remediation and re-validation.
• Support CI/CD regression and automate/test suite enhancements.
• Analyze results and collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues.
