Job summary

Aderant Holdings, Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of its legal software suite. You will perform manual verification and automated testing across product areas, implement gating tests, and participate in performance and load testing to meet release criteria.

You will collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers, product owners, and support staff to create robust test plans, maintain automation, and ensure reliable test execution in CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in software QA, including automation.
Hands-on with modern UI automation frameworks (preferred Playwright).
Experience testing REST APIs and reading payloads in DevTools.
Working knowledge of SQL and data checks.
Experience with Git, PRs, and CI pipelines.
Strong test design, risk assessment, and prioritization.

Responsibilities

Plan testing for features and releases; convert requirements into test cases.
Build and maintain automated tests across layers, including web, API, and integration tests.
Execute manual and exploratory testing, regression passes, and release checklists.
Verify data flows and contracts across databases and connectors.
Contribute to performance/load testing and non-functional criteria.
Keep automation reliable; fix flaky tests and manage test data.
Integrate tests into CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for PRs and releases.
Log defects with evidence and summarize coverage and risks for stakeholders.
