Job summary

Aderant North America, Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of our legal software suite. You will test features across web and API layers, build automated tests with Playwright, and participate in CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

The role emphasizes planning test cases from requirements, performing manual and exploratory testing, and collaborating with developers, product owners, and support staff to deliver reliable releases.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software QA experience with automated testing.
• Experience with a modern UI automation framework, ideally Playwright.
• Experience testing REST APIs and reading payloads in browser DevTools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data checks and test setup.

Responsibilities

• Plan testing for features and releases from requirements and user stories.
• Build and maintain automated tests across Web, API, and unit levels.
• Run manual and exploratory testing including release checklists and regression passes.
• Verify data flows, contracts, and failure behavior across integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners; contribute to CI/CD.
