Job summary

Anchor Free, a fast-growing technology company headquartered in Silicon Valley, is seeking a rock star QA Engineer with automation experience. You will join the QA team to improve product stability and drive the automation strategy, working with the platform team to test infrastructure components and diagnose issues.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA experience, strong Java automation (TestNG, JUnit) and scripting (Python/Perl/Ruby), plus familiarity with Linux, Windows and Mac

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac environments.
• Strong Java automation (TestNG, JUnit) and scripting (Unix shell, Perl, Ruby, Python).
• Knowledge of IP/TCP/UDP/HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VPN or proxies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking, version control, and test-case management.
• Selenium RC experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop and maintain automation tests per requirements.

Position:

We are actively seeking a rock star QA Engineer with experience in automation. You will work with our QA team to make our product more stable and bug free. You should have a passion for, and expert-level of proficiency and a sharp eye for detail. You will become a key technical contributor to our QA team, responsible for implementation and execution of our automated test suites. You will also work closely with our platform team in functionally testing new and existing infrastructure components, as well as diagnosing customer and operational issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, develop and maintain automation test suits according requirements.
• Analyze tests results, localize confirm and report issues
• Create and maintain automated reporting system
• Valuably participate in Agile development process, point out potential risks and issues in architecture, design on the plan stage
• Work on increasing test coverage
• Research advantages and possibility of the implementation of new techniques, solutions and test methods
• Perform manual ad-hoc testing if needed
• Closely work with development engineers to reproduce and resolve issues

Job Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, logical, problem recognition and solving skills
• Ability to work in Agile environment under tough timelines
• 5+ years of QA experience
• Ability to create automation framework from scratch for functional, performance and load tests
• 5+ years of experience with Linux, Windows, Mac (preferably Administration knowledge/experience)
• 3+ years of test automation experience in Java (TestNG, Junit) and scripting languages (Unix shell, Perl, Ruby, Python)
• Experience in backend automation tests
• Knowledge of IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols, VPN, Proxy
• Knowledge of bug tracking, version control and test cases control systems
• Experience with Selenium RC
• Virtualization knowledge (Virtual Box; VMware)
