Job summary

ECFX is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer for a fully remote role across US time zones. You will use AI to design tests, perform risk-based exploratory testing, and validate data retrieval and delivery across multiple court portals and integrations.

You’ll work on both manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on security, accuracy, and reproducibility. You will test AI features, document testing, and contribute to test strategies, reports, and quality gates.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in software quality assurance for web or SaaS

Responsibilities

• Use AI tools to map risks and draft test charters
• Perform risk-based exploratory, functional, and regression testing
• Verify document retrieval, parsing, and delivery across sources
• Back-end validation via API calls, SQL queries, and logs
• Create realistic test data and edge-case documents
• Evaluate AI features for accuracy and robustness
• Check logins, roles, and data access security
• Investigate issues and write clear bug reports
• Optionally build focused automated checks with Playwright or API tests
