Qualifications

• Requires JD/LLB or equivalent legal qualification, OR a bachelor's degree plus 3+ years in legal practice
• Hands-on experience building executable software systems that operate on legal data and improve legal workflows
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and Markdown formats
• Experience using agentic AI systems for legal and software development tasks
• Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design and implement evaluation frameworks, datasets, and tools that measure and improve the legal accuracy of AI-powered products
• Translate legal quality standards into repeatable, automated tests for non-deterministic systems
• Advise product managers, engineers, and designers on legal accuracy across specifications, prompts, taxonomies, and user-facing copy
• Build platforms and tooling that support ongoing legal quality assurance workflows
• Investigate, prove out, and recommend methods to strengthen legal reasoning performance and unlock more value from customer data
• Communicate clearly in both directions—explaining legal concepts to engineers and technical ideas to legal professionals
