VIPRE Security, a brand of Ziff Davis, develops cybersecurity products focused on endpoint protection and email security, along with advanced threat intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Review product, feature, and design specifications
• Define stories, create test plans
• Develop manual test cases
• Strive to automate wherever possible
• Assist stakeholders in their estimations
• Participate in sprint planning and meetings
• Perform functional, non-functional, system, and end-to-end tests
• Write clear bug reports and assist developers in issue resolution
• Proactively work towards product and process improvements
• Coordinate with stakeholders, developers, and meet key deadlines and milestones

Experience & Qualifications:

• BA/BS in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of software QA processes and methodologies
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Test automation and/or programming experience
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Appium, Robot Framework, PyTest
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Understanding of testing levels (unit, integration, acceptance) and software layers (backend, API, UI)
• Experience testing applications across desktop and mobile OSes (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS)
• Experience with Docker containers and virtualized test environments (VMware, VirtualBox, cloud platforms)
