Focusing on the RapidDeploy product line leading cloud-native platform for public safety. Job Description

As a QA Engineer, you will have the hands-on opportunity to work in tandem with experienced engineers to deliver high quality and robust solutions in an Agile environment. In addition to the requirements below, successful candidates and team members will share a passion for high-quality software, strong engineering principles, and methodical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all levels of testing (Unit, Integration, and End-to-end)
  • Write maintainable, well-designed and efficient tests
  • Track and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated manner
  • Maintain automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently in CI/CD environments when applicable
  • Conduct test coverage review sessions with product and development teams in sprint cycles
  • Collaborate with engineers to drive continuous testing and improvements
  • throughout the SDLC
  • Gather requirements, build testing solutions, and troubleshoot issues to deliver a high-quality product
  • Proactively work with other team members as needed to resolve issues and meet project goals
  • Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for deliverables
  • Mentor Juniors and Interns

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years' professional experience in Test Analysis
  • Minimum 2 years' professional experience developing in C#, Java or other programming languages
  • Experience with API testing
  • Experience with Testing Automation Frameworks - preferably API Based framework
  • Experience in an Agile and Scrum environment
  • Experience with designing test plans for existing and new functionality
  • Experience with manual and automation testing of Browser and Mobile Apps
  • Experience in implementing and executing complex test cases while maintaining test records
  • Exposure to BDD/TDD
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps (Test Management and CI/CD)
  • Experience using Git
  • Degree / Diploma in a relevant field
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
  • ISTQB Agile Testing Certification is advantageous
  • ISTQB Advance Test Analyst Level Certification is advantageous
  • Familiar with QA test automation solutions - Appium, RestAssured, Playwright
  • Experience with Non-functional Testing
  • Exposure to Load and Performance tools (k6, JMeter, Gatling etc.)
  • Experience with AI/machine learning technologies is strongly preferred.

This position is open to all remote candidates based in the US.

Target Base Salary Range

$65,900.00 - $131,800.00

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of professional experience in Test Analysis and at least 2 years' development experience in C#, Java or other programming languages.

Experience with API testing

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
