May 09, 2025 - Vacancies is hiring a remote Manual QA Engineer. Location: Ukraine.

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer (Web). In this role, you will work with a mature QA process, established tools, and a strong team, while also having space to grow. You will be able to deepen your expertise by working with relational and document-oriented databases, REST APIs, proxy tools, and analytics. You'll have the opportunity to test marketing logic, support A/B experiments, and influence product quality at scale. It's a solid environment for those who want to strengthen their core QA skills and expand into more complex testing scenarios step by step.

Responsibilities

1. Perform manual testing of internal web products using API tools and databases.
2. Conduct smoke, sanity, and regression testing for various web functionalities.
3. Create test documentation including test cases, bug reports, and checklists.
4. Participate in SCRUM processes and the full software development lifecycle.
5. Support and execute A/B testing initiatives.
6. Work with internal products such as admin panels.
7. Investigate bugs and analyze their root causes.
8. Build test reports to communicate findings and quality trends.
9. Contribute to improving the speed and quality of testing.
10. Perform functional testing of new features.
11. Test responsive web designs and native mobile applications.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in web testing.
• Confident working with Jira, Confluence, and various test management systems.
• Hands-on experience using DevTools for testing and debugging.
• Familiarity with relational or document-oriented databases (querying, editing, deleting data).
• Experience with Proxy debugging tools (e.g., Charles, Proxyman, Fiddler).
• Proficiency with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools for API testing.
• Solid understanding of SCRUM methodologies and SDLC.
• Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing requirements.
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience testing responsive websites and native mobile apps.
• Intermediate or higher level of English.
• Attention to detail and a critical mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving attitude and learning agility.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently.
