  • Good understanding of JIRA and Dashboard creations to showcase right KPI

Responsibilities

  • Test Planning: Collaborate with the project team to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of the application.
  • Test Case Design: Develop detailed and well-organized test cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Test Execution: Execute manual test cases to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure the overall quality of the software. Perform both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Defect Reporting: Clearly document and report defects, including detailed steps to reproduce, to facilitate efficient communication with developers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and resolve any issues that arise during the testing process.
  • Test Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test results, and other relevant artifacts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Provide feedback on ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the testing lifecycle.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and any potential risks to project stakeholders.

QA Engineer

Client is hopeful to find 1-5 years experience with manual and automation but if only one then manual is required.

Client could consider a good college pedigree with some type of QA experience during the academic period. This doesn't have to be significant experience just something to minimize a complete learning experience.

This will be in the Jefferson City office and work on-site.

Qualifications and Skills
