Job summary

Momento USA is seeking a QA Engineer (Automation) to join our client-based team in a hybrid role spanning Coppell, TX, San Ramon, CA, or New York, NY. You will design and execute automated test suites, integrate backend with RESTful APIs, and contribute to the overall quality of software products.

The candidate should be proficient with Selenium with Java, Cucumber, Sauce Labs, and CI/CD tools, and able to create robust test plans, scripts, and reports while collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Experience in automation testing of software applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application.
• Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stakeholders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution.
• Work independently under minimal guidance.
• Identify use cases/scenarios, create test cases, prioritize test cases, execute test cases, and generate reports to report to stakeholders.
• Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes.
• Preparing automation scripts.
• Troubleshooting automation software issues.
• Creating test plans and test summary reports.
• Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary.
• Performing functional and end to end testing.
• Maintaining the automation suite.
• Test data creation for automation.
• Submitting Pull Requests.
• Understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Analysis of the automation reports (Extent and Cucumber).
• Trigger the automation suite as necessary.
