Responsibilities include developing automated test scripts with Selenium and Python, performing mobile testing, and ensuring regression coverage across web and mobile applications. Local California candidates only.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and automated testing for web and mobile apps.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts with Selenium and Python.
• Write backend integration tests and REST API tests.
• Track QA progress and provide weekly status reports in Jira.
• Design and run integration, regression, functional, and stress tests.
• Collaborate with BA and Devs to convert requirements into test cases.
• Conduct Web/UI testing across browsers and platforms.
• Support QA activities and Jira management daily.
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Identify, document, and track defects in Jira.
• Improve QA automation frameworks and processes.
• Perform mobile app testing and mobile automation testing.

Job Summary

We are looking for a mid-level QA Automation Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in both functional and automation testing. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day QA activities, Jira tracking, automation testing, API testing, mobile testing, and regression testing.

Candidates must be local to California and available to work onsite in Fremont, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both functional and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.
• Write backend integration tests and automated tests for RESTful APIs.
• Track automation testing progress and provide weekly QA status reports.
• Design and execute integration, regression, functional, and stress testing.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to understand requirements and convert them into detailed test cases.
• Perform Web/UI testing across different browsers and platforms.
• Participate in day-to-day QA activities and Jira management.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through JIRA.
• Support continuous improvement of QA automation frameworks and testing processes.
• Perform mobile application testing and mobile automation testing.

Required Skills

• 5–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / QA Automation.
• Strong experience with both manual/functional testing and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Python.
• Experience with REST API testing and backend integration testing.
