Job summary

Moji Food is seeking a Production Manager with Quality Assurance (QA) experience for our Kent, WA plant. You will lead and strengthen the plant's food safety and QA programs and drive continuous improvement across operations.

You will oversee RTE safety, regulatory readiness, traceability, and CAPA processes, reporting to the Plant Manager. This hands-on role requires early hours and collaboration with multiple departments to advance automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in start-up food manufacturing with QA and food safety.
• Strong HACCP, GMPs, and preventive controls knowledge.
• Experience developing and implementing food safety programs.
• Excellent documentation, investigation, and CAPA skills.
• Hands-on on production floor, lifting and moving materials.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication.
• Willingness to work early morning hours (~4:30am) and travel to Texas plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of QA and food safety programs.
• Oversee HACCP, SSOPs, sanitation, allergens, recalls, and traceability.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare for audits.
• Assess plant operations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Maintenance, and IT.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for QA and food safety.
