Job summary

Thorne, located in Summerville, SC, is seeking a Quality Assurance Document Control Specialist to manage controlled documents and quality records within the QMS. The role supports SOPs, forms, master records, batch records, and change management, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities while collaborating with QA, QC, and Manufacturing to support compliant product disposition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, document control, or related manufacturing documentation preferred.
• Familiarity with cGMP and GDP requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, format, edit, route, finalize, file, and maintain controlled documents in the QMS.
• Maintain controlled documentation including SOPs, work instructions, forms, specs, and master manufacturing records.
• Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure documents are accurate, reviewed, and approved.
• Ensure documents progress through review and finalization processes on schedule.
• Support batch record preparation, product release activities, and change management.
