Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in seafood processing (preferred).
• HACCP certification (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in equivalent field of study (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains QA systems, audit records, training records.
• Verifies conformance to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Notifies management of quality/compliance trends and failures.
• Updates SOPs, policies, and training materials as needed.
• Manages supplier, ingredient, and contract manufacturer qualification processes.
• Directs third-party lab testing programs for analysis and shelf-life studies.
