Job summary

Innosoft Corporation in Columbia, SC is seeking a QA / Business Process Analyst to lead data mapping and quality assurance during software implementation. You will coordinate with the project manager, vendor, and internal staff to identify pain points and drive improvements in processes and software functionality.

The role requires extensive Emphasys and HDS experience, a strong background in mapping business processes to software data fields, and the ability to document changes and create SOWs

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Quality Analyst.
• Minimum 3 years of state government experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Emphasys and with HDS.
• 6+ years of data mapping experience.
• 6+ years of business process testing and improvement.
• 6+ years of process and procedure documentation.
• Experience creating Statements of Work, Change Orders, and Software Modification Requests.

Responsibilities

• Lead data mapping and QA for software implementation within the program area.
• Record problems and open helpdesk tickets in the vendor ticketing system.
• Identify areas for modifications to meet program functionality and improve processes.

Project Overview

This position will report to the Project ManagementOffice Manager and will be the lead in performing data mapping and qualityassurance for the final stages of software implementation within an internalbusiness program area. Position will interface with the project manager,project sponsor, vendor and internal project staff. Will be responsible forrecording problems and opening helpdesk tickets on the software vendorticketing system. Will look for any areas where modifications or changes couldbe made to the software to meet or substantially improve the program areafunctionality. This position will assist the internal staff using the productin mapping a complex spreadsheet to the software data fields for the businessfunctions and looking for opportunities to make improvements in internalprocesses and procedures as well as opportunities to improve the consumersatisfaction within the program area. This position will also work with subjectmatter experts with the program area to identify pain points within thesoftware that may need to be addressed by modifications. This position will beworking with software vendors and internal staff to recommend improvements tobusiness processes, procedures and software functionality.

• ProvidePresentations, documentation, correspondence, reports for use as softwarechange orders and/or statements of work for modifications to software
• Providedocumentation and training for any recommended changes to business processes
