Clara is the leading spend management platform in Latin America. More than 40,000 businesses rely on our corporate cards, bill pay, financing and B2B payments. We are ~400 people, backed by top firms including Kaszek, monashees, Coatue and DST Global.

We are looking for a Fullstack/Backend Engineer focused on QA Automation — a software engineer who builds the infrastructure, frameworks, APIs, and tooling that make automated quality possible at Clara. This is an engineering craft role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development with automation or tooling delivery.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and backend Java/Spring Boot when needed.
• Experience building test automation frameworks for web and API.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement shared automation frameworks and libraries.
• Build backend APIs and fullstack tools to store test results and expose reports.
• Integrate with delivery workflows (GitHub Actions, Slack, Linear).
• Harden CI/CD pipelines for smoke and regression suites.
• Ensure test code quality with reviews and documentation.
