Job summary

Impiricus is seeking a QA Automation Manager to lead a team across manual and automated testing, ensuring quality, security, and reliability of software products. You will define QA standards and drive automation maturity in collaboration with product, dev, and data teams.

You will mentor engineers, optimize test coverage, and oversee testing for new features while aligning with industry standards and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software QA experience.
• 2+ years leading a QA team.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with manual and automated test planning, development, and execution.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FDA, GDPR is a plus.
• SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Engineers across manual and automation.
• Review test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure coverage.
• Manage team capacity and defects tracking through resolution.
• Establish QA standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Oversee test planning and execution for new features/releases.
• Expand automation frameworks for all platforms and prioritize backlog.
• Provide regular updates on automation progress to stakeholders.
