Job summary

The Panther Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of an automation framework for Windows UI and web applications in downtown Boston. You will collaborate with QA and application engineering teams to select tools and build scalable automation solutions that streamline test execution and QA processes.

Responsibilities include extending automation to web UI, integrating with test management tools, and delivering reliable, data-driven test suites.

Qualifications

Experience building and maintaining UI automation frameworks for Windows UI and web apps.
Proficiency in scripting languages and the ability to write clean, reliable test code.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and test data setup.
Experience with cloud testing on AWS or Azure and SaaS/cloud apps.

Responsibilities

Define the automation framework and tooling requirements for scalable testing.
Collaborate with QA and development teams to implement automation across Windows UI and web apps.
Design modular, maintainable test components: test data, object repository, logging, reporting.
Develop and maintain automated test suites, including data-driven tests and parallel execution.
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools.
Provide actionable metrics and documentation to QA stakeholders.
Mentor team members and promote QA best practices.
