We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team for a key project with a major automotive company based in Fremont, California. We're seeking someone who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to take on new challenges. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, a quick learner, and someone who thrives in dynamic environments.

Important Considerations:

• On-site position in Fremont, California (TN Visa sponsorship provided)
• Must have Mexican nationality
• Valid Mexican passport required
• Bachelor’s degree and professional license (cédula profesional)
• Genuine interest in relocating and living in the United States

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, SDET or similar rol.
• Solid programming experience with one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of REST architecture and hands-on experience testing and automating web service APIs.
• Proficient in using automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or WebdriverIO.
• Strong background in UI automation.
• Skilled in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience developing test automation frameworks using tools and technologies such as Protractor, BDD (e.g., Cucumber, Jasmine), JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, Cypress, WebdriverIO, and Appium.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and back-end testing concepts.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required.

Main Acitivites

• Develop BDD Scenarios.
• Develop Automated Test Suites.
• Work independently against aggressive deadlines.
• Verify the quality of data using automated scripts.
• Log, manage, and retest defects in bug tracking system.
• Report testing status, milestones and issues to project stakeholders.
• Keen attention to detail and be exceptionally good at identifying inconsistencies and flaws.
• Support off-hours launches and monitoring of systems with IT teams, as needed.

Education

• Computer Science/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
